OUTREACH AND EVANGELISM MINISTRIES

BRCC Outreach and Evangelism seeks to further Christian growth in our congregation by finding ways to serve others. 
By heeding Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 25, we seek to serve those in need and to thereby stand as a testimony to Christian love by becoming the hands and feet of Christ. 
We wish to be known for our “service evangelism” as a way of creating dialogue with an unbelieving world. 

The Outreach and Evangelism Committee attempts to run projects which can be accomplished by people who want to share their love, but may not have specialized skills. Most projects are aimed outside the walls of BRCC and many support our chosen ministry partners serving the underprivileged of Bridgeport. 

Our goal is to involve all who attend Black Rock in service, to enhance their Christian growth and model Christ to our community.

Vision Statement
The vision of Outreach and Evangelism is to develop Christ-like character within each BRCC attender through service to others, to build community within the Body of Christ and to impact the secular community through “servant evangelism” as a powerful testimony of the love of Christ to an unbelieving world.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to make a variety of outreach and evangelism opportunities available to every BRCC attendee for their spiritual growth and development and to serve those most in need in our community through the ministries of our local outreach partners.
