Finishing the Task: The Word in Every Tongue
Black Rock's 53rd Annual Missions Conference
March 6-14, 2010

Faith Promise Overview
Faith Promise Weekend will be March 13-14. The goal this year is $1,130,000. Submit an Online Faith Promise Commitment

Speakers Overview
Our speaker for the first weekend will be Dennis Cochrane, a Wycliffe Bible translator who learned the Funa language in Papua New Guinea, created the first written alphabet for the previously unwritten language, compiled a Duna-English dictionary, and gave the Dunas their first Bible translation.

On Wednesday evening, March 10, missionary Dan Scribner will give us a report on the expansion of the worldwide church and locations of people groups who still need to hear the Gospel. Dan is a co-chair of Joshua Project, one of the most respected repositories of information about as-yet unreached people groups.

Our final conference weekend will feature Nard Pugyao, who lived in a remote village in Northern Luzon, Philippines, and became a Christ-follower as a result of reading a portion of the Bible in his native Isnag language.
