How does Black Rock define missions… 

Black Rock defines missions as any cross-cultural ministry carried on outside the local congregation, not directly under the jurisdiction of Black Rock, the purpose of which is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 18:18-20 and Acts 1:8) by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipling, church planting and church development.

What do you do about…

• the one-third of the world’s population, almost two billion people, who will go to bed tonight and never have the opportunity in their lifetime to hear the Gospel in their own language?
• the 11 million children under the age of five who will die this year from a preventable disease?
• the 2000 people groups in the world today who have never heard the Gospel?
• the 42 million people who are living under the death threat of HIV/AIDS?
• the statistic that says that proportionally, Islam is the fastest growing major religion in the world toeday?

What do you say about the words of Jesus…

“All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”  Matthew 28:18, 19
