MIDWEEK PROGRAMS


CHRISTIAN SERVICE BRIGADE 
(Mondays 7:00-8:30pm)

Boys in grades 1-10 come to Black Rock each Monday night for Christian Service Brigade (CSB). The goal of CSB is to give boys a chance to learn leadership skills and to help them develop spiritually. Each Monday evening from 7-8:30 our boys meet, play games, tell stories, and are taught biblical principles. Boys can go to Northern Frontier camp in the Adirondacks each summer.

CSB has three age appropriate groups:

Tree Climbers- 1st & 2nd grade boys and their dads (Dads need to be present and involved). It’s a great place to bond with dad!

Stockade- Boys in grades 3-6. Games are US! You’ll sweat in competition and mentally stretch as you work on skills for achievement awards.

Battalion- 7th-12th graders develop leadership skills through discipline and achieve goals once thought impossible. Battalion also has a leadership training track that prepares our young men to serve in the younger age programs.

PIONEER GIRL'S CLUB  FOR GRADES 1-6 
(Mondays 7:00-8:30pm)

Nearly 100 girls, grades 1-6 gather every week for Pioneer Clubs. Balanced Christian living is the focus with classes on cooking, art, crafts, music and Christian living. Pioneer Clubs strives to integrate spiritual and personal development and emphasize evangelism and discipleship. The girls have an opportunity to attend summer camp and Camp Cherith in the Adirondacks.

Each Monday evening from 7-8:30 you will find the following Pioneer Girls’ groups meeting:

Voyagers- Grades 1&2

Pathfinders- Grades 3&4

Trailblazers- Grades 5&6

AREA 56 
(1st & 3rd Thursday of the month 7:00-8:30pm)

This is the place for just 5th and 6th graders. They meet the first and third Thursday of each month from 7-8:30 and the calendar is filled with other fun events. Our time together is packed with games, Bible teaching, small groups and a great snack. The goal of AREA 56 is for kids to come and find a place to connect with each other, build relationships with great leaders and learn how to apply God’s Word to their ever changing world.
