Josh Feay Director of Sanctuary
Josh is passionate about helping people experience the beauty and grace of the God of the universe and live the way God designed us to live. Coming in a close second to his love for God is the love for his family. For reasons he still doesn’t understand, his lovely wife Maria agreed to marry him and they have been happily married since 1998. Eli, their first child, was born in 2001, Zoe joined the family in 2003, Ian arrived in 2005 and Ava and Ivy came along in 2007. They enjoy all the outdoor activities Connecticut offers from the beach to the snow. Josh’s parents were missionaries in Sierra Leone, West Africa, when he was young. It was a great place to grow up riding mini-motorcycles and having a pet monkey. He spent his middle and high school years in Fort Wayne, IN, developing a passionate love for basketball. He attended Washington University in Saint Louis for college, double majoring in Economics and Religious Studies. He worked as a surety underwriter for an insurance company for a few years, then decided to follow God’s calling to ministry. He attended Yale University Divinity School for three years before joining the staff of Black Rock.
