Sanctuary has six elements that define the core of what it means to follow God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength.

  1. We were created to have a relationship with God.
  2. We are called to live in authentic community.
  3. The Word of God is the guide for life.
  4. Mission is the reason that we exist.
  5. Compassion for the poor and oppressed is not optional.
  6. Everything we are and have must glorify God.

A Disciple:

  • Follows Jesus CHRIST because He is God. (Luke 9:18-27)
  • CONNECTS with God through spiritual disciplines. (1 Timothy 4:7)
  • Lives in authentic COMMUNITY. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
  • Exhibits Godly CHARACTER by bearing the fruit of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-25)
  • CARES, serves and influences others. (Philippians 2:3-8, 1 John 3:16-24)
