We are a group of middle school students and committed adult leaders from all over Fairfield County who come to one crazy place to have a great time together. Here is more information about Club JV: When? What time? Where? In Woodruff Hall. What do you do? First: Hang out Time As soon as you arrive at Club JV you will head to the welcome table for a name tag and then head into the hang out room where all kinds of activities go on. Students chat, play video games, grab snacks at our Snack Shack, and just plain hang out. Second: Game Time After about ten minutes of hang out time, the organized games that Club JV is known for begins! We play everything from dodgeball to eating games to relay races and everything in between. This is a time for students to laugh and have fun with friends new and old. Third: Talk Time Getting through your middle school years can be tough. There are so many things that middle schoolers deal with and we want to address those issues here. We want to equip you to suceed during your years as a middle school student. And what better place to get what we need to suceed in life than from God's Word! So come and get real tools on how to make wise choices, find your true identity, and build great relationships. Fourth: Connect Time The last part of the night is a time for building relationships and breaking down what we learned during the night. Students break up into gender specific groups, discuss what they learned that night, and talk about what's happening in their lives. This is a great chance for student to process information and get connected to other students and an amazing CLUB JV adult leader! | |||
