LONG RIDGE CAMPUS

Black Rock Congregational Church recently opened up a new campus in Stamford, CT called Long Ridge. 

We like to think that Long Ridge has the best of everything Black Rock. We have a long Christian heritage. The original part of the church was built between 1840 and 1860. It is a beautiful old New England chapel.  Yet we worship in a hall that was built in the 1990’s and is outfitted with all the modern equipment necessary for our skilled musicians to create a sweet worship experience.

Our Youth Center is a separate building on the campus dedicated to young people in junior and senior high. They have a stage for live worship and a sound system that can blow the roof off the place, or at least loud enough to keep them awake on Sunday morning.

The Education Center is on the ground level with individual class rooms including a fully equipped nursery. We can accommodate the younger folks through elementary school in our fully outfitted rooms.

The resources of a large church with the intimacy of a small church we are Black Rock at Long Ridge. We hope to see you on Sunday Morning.

10:30 Contemporary Worship
Our worship style at the Black Rock Long Ridge Campus is Contemporary.  We praise God in a style that is joyful and energetic. The one and a half hour service usually begins with four or five songs that the congregation sings accompanied by our adult-contemporary band (featuring guitars, drums, pianos, brass) and led by a vocal team. Sometimes a vocal team member sings a solo to express our love for God or God's love for us. Following a brief welcome and time of prayer, the pastor (Steve Treash) delivers a message via video from the Bible that is designed to help us become better Christ-followers at home, at work and in every area of life.
